Welcome to my blog! “Thank You” for taking the time to stop by and allowing me to share with you a little about myself. I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about you in the near future as well.
As long as I can remember, I have always had a strong desire to be an entrepreneur. God blessed me with a huge dreamer, a huge heart for helping people and a desire to be very successful.
Coming up through school, I was a strong C student… to say the least. Not because I wasn’t smart, but because I loved the outdoors and couldn’t wait to get outside in the wild and free. I grew up fishin and huntin and trying to figure out how to become an expert in the wild was a challenge that I was always up for and to be honest A2 + B2 = C2 didn’t even register in my brain! Much less, how to break a sentence down into adjectives and adverbs and put them on those freakin lines drawn out! LOL (Still to this day I have never used it and don’t see myself using it in the next 40 years of my life either…)
As a kid, I always had to work. My dad told me to work hard, make good grades, get a good job and do the best I could and things would be ok. So, at 13 I started cutting yards around where I lived. Now I didn’t mind hard work! As a matter of fact, I loved it! And man let me tell you, little did I know, I was about to get my share of it…
You see, one of the yards I cut was a family of construction workers who had moved to Tennessee from Oklahoma. They would come in from work while I was cutting their yard driving those big trucks with work trailers behind and I thought man that’s too cool! I want that!! So one day I messed up and told them if they ever needed any help, just give me a call. And they did…
The next summer at age 14, I started working for them. They framed houses and they put me to work carrying lumber, getting nails, moving piles of wood, cleaning up the job sites and anything under the sun they could think of for a “grunt” to do! HARD WORK!!!! Now I was only about 135 lbs at the time. They picked at me, made fun and even fired me 3 times my first summer!! But I was NOT going to quit or let them win by running me off!!
Long story short, I worked for those guys for 4 yrs. Every summer when I would get out of school I went to work for them. By the end of my senior year in high school… I was a full fledged Frame Carpenter! I even worked with them a few summers in college.
I went to an agricultural branch of the University of Tennessee at Martin, Tn. I rodeo’d while in college and partied waaaaay too much and they felt lead to let me know that I was no longer welcome back the end of my second year.
But that was cool. I knew what I wanted to do! So I started my own construction company at age 22. I actually became one of the most sought after carpenters in the Memphis and Mid-South area. I had 10 crews and over 35 employees at the time. Things were great! I loved what I did and was good at it. I began pouring concrete, bought out an erosion control company and started putting up metal buildings. And as you know, with large growth comes large pile of DEBT! (Over $650,000)…
And then it happened… The CRASH in 2008! Over night the work just stopped coming in! But guess what??? The Bills didn’t!!! And the banks still wanted their money!
Fortunate for me, my dad bailed me out. Or did he? Now, I owed HIM!
Now here I am, 30 years old dead broke, no money coming in, no education to fall back on and no jobs to speak of to get! Seemed like most businesses were closing down as well.
I had been introduced to the industry of Network Marketing before and had actually joined a company. But a good life got in the way of a great life and I didn’t take the opportunity seriously at the time. But I did love what it had to offer. Personal Growth, teachings and training, a system, Endless Income Potential and a ton of motivated, driven and “on a mission” people who were out to better their current situation. (This are the things I love most about the industry)
Looking back I can remember the very first presentation I ever saw. All I could remember was I could make over $82,000 per month, and all I had to do was TALK TO PEOPLE!!! Man! This was right up my alley!!! (Yeah right… doesn’t quite work out that way huh… lol)
Long story short, I’ve been full-time, part-time, no-time, back to full-time, made good money, made no money, lost all my friends, made new friends, come close many times of getting kicked out the house and loosing my family all because of this industry. I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly of this industry… And Wouldn’t Trade It For All The Money In The World!! Now that’s not to say, I wouldn’t do it a little different if I could turn back time and start all over again 🙂
But saying all that, I have a huge passion for the industry! And can say, I know what to do, what not to do and I’m on a continuing learning and growing journey to stay on top of my game…. But it’s not personal…
What I love most about this industry is Being Able To Help Others Achieve Success!!!
No matter if it’s an extra $500/month or $50,000+/month, I am here to help and serve others and work with those who truly see this industry as the right vehicle to take them from where they are right now… to where they want to go!
Above was a picture of my beautiful family. They are my life! We do about 99.9999999% of everything together. We ride horse, we rodeo and love spending time together. I couldn’t dream of life any different!
I want each and every person who has the same dreams and desires to live a life to it’s fullest by spending time with the people who matter most and doing the things they want and enjoy, to be able to create that lifestyle for themselves as well!
I’m on a mission to reach out and help as many people as possible and guide them along their Journey To Freedom! Helping them to create Victory In their Vision!!
If this is you, I am REALLY glad you are here! But let me tell you up front… It doesn’t happen over night. But it can and will happen my friend. You just have to make the decision, get committed and together we are going to make BIG things happen for you and your future!
